We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Support Agent to join our team in a remote work capacity. As a Customer Support Agent with arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting the defined goals of our Division by performing a variety of tele-recruiting functions, contacting blood donors, and providing a positive service experience to maximize donor show rates.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:

Performing a variety of tele-recruiting functions in support of the defined goals for the Division
Contacting blood donors by telephone using a dialer system to recruit for blood donation
Using information from multiple computer systems simultaneously to target appropriate blood drives for donors, update donor records as needed, and record outcomes of calls
Scheduling appointments while providing a positive service experience to maximize donor show rates
Following a process and appropriate scripting for conducting a call with a donor to ensure a consistent donor experience
Maintaining daily production standards, including phone calls and appointments per hour, to meet established collection goals
Developing a working knowledge of donor criteria to inform donors of eligibility and reduce deferral rates
Maintaining accurate records of donors/groups contacted and appointments scheduled to avoid errors, poor customer relations, and ensure sufficient donor availability
Responding to or transferring inbound calls to the appropriate party
Performing other related duties as assigned
Coordinating support of community and business donor groups to assure a positive image of arenaflex


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of telemarketing, customer service, or call center experience
Proficiency in using multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment to quickly and efficiently meet donor service needs
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal communication skills, the ability to work with potentially difficult customers, and work in a fast-paced call center


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment
Familiarity with dialer systems and computer software applications
Knowledge of donor criteria and blood donation processes
Experience working in a team-oriented environment

Training Schedule and Requirements
The training schedule for this role will be as follows:

Week 1: In-house training, Monday to Friday, 7:45 am - 4:30 pm (Monday) and 10:00 am - 6:30 pm (Tuesday to Friday)
Week 2: Remote learning and on-the-job training, Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
Week 3: Continued remote learning and on-the-job training, Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, and production work on Friday

After completing the three-week training program, you will be expected to work a full-time schedule, Sunday to Thursday, 11:30 am - 8:00 pm (Sunday) and 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm (Monday to Thursday).

Vaccination Requirement
Please note that all new hires are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. This means that all individuals working for arenaflex must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start of their employment or have begun the vaccination process prior to their start date. Upon being offered a position, individuals will be required to submit proof of vaccination.
