**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers, assessing their needs, and recommending products to meet their requirements
* Learn about products using careerzynith tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Participate in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and meet sales goals
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to build a positive and inclusive work environment

**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a cash register, and processing transactions
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
