Experienced Customer Services Representative - Remote - Delivering Exceptional Patient Experiences and Driving Customer Satisfaction

As a Customer Services Representative, you will be the face of blithequark, handling a variety of customer service calls, resolving patient questions and problems, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of customer service calls in a prompt and courteous manner, resolving patient questions and problems regarding patient accounts, payments, and services. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and provide clear, concise, and understandable information to patients and customers. Utilize Microsoft Office products and navigate the internet with ease, ensuring seamless communication and efficient problem-solving. Provide outstanding customer service, deescalating difficult situations and remaining positive in all interactions with patients and customers. Take patient demographics and other patient information as needed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Review explanation of benefit (EOB) documentation, notate accounts on collection activity, and perform account resolution. Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, obtaining any missing information and ensuring timely and accurate billing. Collect patient payments in accordance with payment due dates, establishing payment plans within approved guidelines. Complete and mail necessary patient statements, returning mail in a timely manner. Create an atmosphere of comfort, peace, and trust for patients, making it easy for them to interact with blithequark. Answer all phone calls within 2 minutes of the call hitting the system, responding to an average of 65 calls per day. Attend in-services, seminars, and webinars for additional education and performance improvement, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of experience in customer service and/or call center industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet navigation. Ability to provide outstanding customer service and deescalate difficult situations. Preferred Qualifications: Customer Service Basics or equivalent training. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Familiarity with healthcare industry and patient accounts. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
