**Experienced Customer Service Support Representative – Specialty Testing Billing (REMOTE)**

As a Customer Service Support Representative on our Specialty Testing team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional support to patients and clients, helping them navigate complex health insurance coverage, cost, and payment options. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! **Responsibilities:** * Handle high call volumes, averaging ~75 calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers * Research and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Navigate and work on multiple systems/websites simultaneously * Provide assistance to clients and patients regarding questions or inquiries related to insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and/or billing * Collaborate with other departments to resolve reimbursement opportunities * Receive and process credit card payments over the phone, adhering to PCI compliance protocols * Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances * Document telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems * Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes * Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations * Assist with other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** * Associate's degree with at least 1+ year of prior relevant work experience OR High School diploma/GED equivalent with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience * Prior Healthcare experience strongly preferred, with a strong preference given to professional medical billing and collection practices * Ability to interpret and apply understanding of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) strongly preferred * Previous customer service experience handling high call volume strongly preferred * Medicare/Medicaid billing experience preferred * Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes strongly preferred * Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) preferred * Working knowledge of prior authorization preferred * Understanding of Women's Health & Genetics Moms Helping Moms of Tomorrow processes preferred * XIFIN experience preferred **Other Desired Skills:** * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures * Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy * Must be organized and detail-oriented * Computer proficiency - MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience **Physical Requirements:** * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer **Remote Technical Requirements:** * Internet speed of at least 50 megabytes per second * Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord * Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi or satellite internet **Benefits:** * Comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Eligibility for benefits based on regular scheduling and hours worked **Equal Opportunity Employer:** * arenaflex is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer * We strive for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind * Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), family or parental status, marital, civil union or domestic partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, personal appearance, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other legally protected characteristic **How to Apply:** * If you're an individual with a disability who needs assistance using our online tools to search and apply for jobs, or needs an accommodation, please visit our accessibility site or contact us at [email protected] * For more information about how we collect and store your personal data, please see our Privacy Statement **Application Window:** * Application window closes: 8/19/2025 **Apply Now:** * by clicking the link below: Apply for this job
