**Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

* Responding to incoming phone calls from clients regarding profit qualification concerns and prescription standing queries
* Providing manual and informative guidance to callers on their prescribed benefits, use planning, formulary, premiums, and condition of purchases and insurance claims or inquiries
* Addressing ideal concerns and listening attentively while documenting required details in computer systems
* Identifying issues and communicating options and measures to clients, pharmacies, and medical doctors with prescribed orders and reorders
* Making outbound calls to customers on prescribed purchases and repayment concerns
* Researching complex problems related to participant prescription and/or pharmacy benefits across multiple data sources, requiring fluency in computer navigation and toggling while confidently and compassionately enlisting with the caller

**Requirements**

To be successful as a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need:

* A High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR comparable work experience
* 1+ years of customer service experience, including delivering service over the phone
* Knowledge of computer and Windows computer functions, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system functions
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (ability to open and navigate a phrase document) and Microsoft Excel (ability to open and navigate a spreadsheet)
* Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our regular business hours of Sunday - Saturday 5:00 am - 11:00 pm true time in Pacific Standard Time OR Mountain Standard Time depending on location

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

* Call Center experience
* Customer service experience
* Expertise in Adult Learning in a virtual setting
* Knowledge partnering with Digital systems and devices (Web, Chat, Email)
* Healthcare/Insurance setting (understanding of clinical jargon, health insurance plan documentations, or benefit strategy design)
* Community service, personality health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change (partnering with vulnerable populations)

**Telecommuting Criteria**

To ensure the success of our remote work program, you'll need:

* A dedicated workspace established that is separate from other living areas and provides information privacy
* Ability to keep all business sensitive records secure (if applicable)
* To be located in an area that can obtain a UnitedHealth Team approved fast internet connection or utilize an existing fast net solution
* Ability to connect directly to the internet via a hard cable (either directly to a cable box or modem)
