Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Specialist II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and the Animal Services - Pet Services team. Your key responsibilities will include * Providing advanced clerical support, including operation of a personal computer and public contact work * Delivering professional and courteous responses to customer inquiries regarding various County operations * Performing customer service functions in support of the Animal Services - Pet Services team * Answering telephone calls, typing letters and reports, maintaining records, and performing data entry * Utilizing software applications to retrieve and enter data * Performing other clerical functions, such as processing mail, filing, and scanning Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need * A high school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact * Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and understand oral and written instructions * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred * Valid Florida driver's license required Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and competencies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred * Experience working in a customer service role in the animal services industry * Knowledge of animal welfare and related laws and regulations * Experience working with software applications, such as CRM systems * Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
