**Overview**

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in creating confidence and excitement among our customers by providing exceptional shopping experiences. You'll be the face of our brand, and your eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, and high brand and execution standards will set us apart from the competition. **Key Responsibilities**

* Greet everyone (teammates and customers) with a smile and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
* Serve as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
* Provide register coverage as needed and ensure strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions.
* Assist the manager with department scheduling, directing workflow, daily associate assignments, and monitoring department presentation standards; monitor Front End associates to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
* Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
* Promote and provide training to new and current teammates on company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
* Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all arenaflex information.
* Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
* Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
* Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**

* Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
* Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
* Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
* Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
