**Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

* Answering incoming calls from customers and providing them with exceptional customer service
* Reviewing customer history as necessary to ensure that we are providing the best possible service
* Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure that we are providing consistent and high-quality service
* Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
* Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
* Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure that we are providing the best possible service

**Essential Functions**

**About You**

Prior customer service experience is required for this role. You should possess strong geographical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively with customers. Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred.

To be a successful Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will need:

* A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications, at a minimum:
+ Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite)
+ Operating System: Windows 10
+ Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above
+ Memory: 8GB of RAM
+ Hard Drive: 256GB
+ Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome
+ Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels
+ Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers)
+ Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software
+ Headset: USB noise-canceling headset

**Work Environment**

As a Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be working from the comfort of your own home. You will have the flexibility to schedule your shifts around your own needs and the needs of your family. Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM ET, seven days per week. You will have the flexibility to set your schedule within those hours of operation.
