About the Role: Customer Service Representative We're looking for talented and dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls, and serving as a member advocate. You'll inform and educate customers, build trust in our abilities, and be the voice of the customer. By using established best practices, attending ongoing training, and utilizing resources and tools, you'll serve as an expert to help navigate through the challenging world of insurance. Key Responsibilities: Interface with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail. Research customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues. Elevate sensitive customer requests when necessary. Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, thus creating a very dynamic environment. The candidate is responsible for taking initiative to stay current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and ensure compliance. Remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length. Reliable internet service provider as well as a dedicated, distraction-free workplace. Preferred Qualifications: Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus. What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $39,520 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits effective on the 1st of the month following your start date. Our work-from-home policy allows you to work from anywhere in the State of Nebraska or local Omaha metro area, providing flexibility and work-life balance. Training and Development: We provide 9-12 weeks of live virtual training, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Central Time Zone). Our training is interactive, and you'll be required to have your camera and audio on during training. After training, you'll work any 8.5-hour shift between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm (Central Time Zone), Monday to Friday.
