As a work-from-home customer service representative, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries related to cruising, destinations, ship amenities, and other pre-cruise related travel inquiries. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service support to guests and travel agent partners via phone, email, or chat Respond to customer inquiries related to cruising, destinations, ship amenities, and other pre-cruise related travel inquiries Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner Utilize the Arise Platform to access client programs, manage schedules, and deliver exceptional customer service Work independently from home, with minimal supervision, to provide high-quality customer service support Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including resolving customer issues and escalating problems as needed Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and product information to provide informed support to customers Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or travel industry setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns Ability to work independently from home, with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of productivity Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace Pass a background check and meet the requirements of the Arise Platform Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a travel-related industry, such as hospitality or tourism Knowledge of cruise industry operations, including ship amenities and destinations Certification in customer service or a related field, such as ICSS or HDI Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software or other technology platforms Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional support to guests and travel agent partners Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Blithequark, we are committed to providing our team members with opportunities for growth and development.
