**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Service Representative at Honey Springs Battlefield, you will be responsible for:
* Greeting guests warmly and providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and assisting with their needs during their visit
* Answering and directing phone calls, processing information requests accurately, and responding to visitor inquiries
* Receiving and directing visitors, including school tours, ensuring proper check-in and wayfinding
* Handling daily financial transactions, including collecting admission and sales fees, processing payments (cash and credit), and reconciling totals
* Stocking and maintaining the gift shop and assisting visitors with purchases
* Helping maintain a clean and organized museum and reception area
* Representing the museum with a high level of professionalism in all guest interactions
* Working both independently and as part of a team in a flexible, fast-paced environment
* Performing other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, and occasional holidays or evenings
* Must be 18 years of age or older
**Essential Skills and Competencies:**
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
