Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative Team Lead to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, providing referrals to providers and agencies, and utilizing computer databases to verify Medicaid eligibility. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position that offers flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the United States. You will be required to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST, Sunday - Saturday (October - March), and 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday (April - September), with occasional overtime as needed. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding arenaflex services and Medicaid benefit plans Conduct research and provide referrals to providers and agencies in Salt Lake County to Medicaid-eligible consumers over the phone Utilize computer databases to verify Medicaid eligibility and provide additional information to customers as needed Complete administrative tasks to support the Care Coordination team, including offering phone numbers, addresses, or other relevant information to individuals who have contacted the wrong organization Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in customer service, care coordination, and Medicaid benefits Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older 2 years of customer service experience in the insurance, medical, behavioral health, or financial technology industry Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST, Sunday - Saturday (October - March), and 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday (April - September) Preferred qualifications include: Familiarity working with Financial Health Technology Soft Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following soft skills and competencies: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities Ability to understand multiple services and benefit plans for Medicaid Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional support to customers Telecommuting Requirements To work remotely with arenaflex, you will need to: Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Have a reliable high-speed internet connection that meets arenaflex's requirements Be able to keep all company-sensitive documents secure and confidential Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
