You'll work closely with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and to ensure that financial and clinical expectations are being met prior to fulfillment. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Help patients with translating and entering in new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues * Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners **Training and Development** * Complete a 4-week training program, which includes a PTO blackout period * Attend training sessions from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST * Schedule post-training hours from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST **Requirements** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology **Compensation and Benefits** * The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45 per hour * Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Take advantage of numerous well-being programs, education assistance, free development courses, and a CVS store discount * Enjoy Paid Time Off (PTO) or vacation pay, as well as paid holidays throughout the calendar year **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and making a positive impact on our customers' lives, we want to hear from you!
