**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Nevada. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of specialty medications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy
* Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
* Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
* Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
* Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners
* Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating compassionate and genuine care for patients and customers

**Training and Schedule:**

* Training duration: 4 weeks (PTO blackout time)
* Training schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST
* Schedule post-training: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST

**Requirements:**

* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
* One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
* Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Preceding healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, medical terminology

* The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45
