Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. As a key member of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication, resolving complex issues, and delivering compassionate care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional telephone support to patients, healthcare providers, and internal partners. Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying benefits and resolving clinical issues. Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system. Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues. Utilize superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone. Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with strong skills and aptitude. Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
