You'll be the primary point of contact for patients, answering their questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that their medication needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. If you're a people person with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, this role is perfect for you! **Key Responsibilities** * Provide phone support to patients receiving specialty medication treatment, answering their questions and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner * Coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and updating patient information * Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy's data system * Collect and process copay payments, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with clinical or billing issues * Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure that medication is delivered on time and that financial and clinical expectations are met * Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues and provide empathetic support to patients and clients **Required Qualifications** * Active IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone * One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness **Preferred Qualifications** * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities simultaneously **About arenaflex's Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a culture that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
