As a Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class service experiences to our customers, addressing their queries, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Answer customer questions pertaining to product information, order statuses, tracking information, returns & exchanges, and more Work remotely and maintain a distraction-free work environment to ensure seamless customer interactions Assist and engage with customers over the phone, email, chat, and social media, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries Manage multiple customer interaction channels efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively Multi-task to find information while communicating with customers, proactively identifying solutions to questions and concerns Provide best-in-class service experiences for our customers, turning potentially negative interactions into positive ones Maintain metrics at or above expectations, including CSAT, customer retention, daily customer interactions, and response time Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Associate degree or greater 2+ years of professional experience working with a computer and web-based tools 2+ years of experience working in customer service/support or a job where strong writing skills are required Excellent written communication skills and the ability to demonstrate a Customer First mentality Comfortable using an authentic, customer-friendly tone when communicating with customers Prior experience using Shopify, Zendesk, Gorgias, or other customer service software is preferred Experience working in a call center and/or remote environment is a plus but not required Detail-oriented, authentic, reliable, communicative, and comfortable working in a startup environment Grit and ability to overcome obstacles, with previous startup experience being a plus Top-notch oral and written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail Open availability and ability to work weekends and key holidays Comfortable and familiar with working from home and being a self-starter Strong proficiency and willingness to handle customer support responsibilities over the phone Skills and Competencies In addition to the requirements and qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively Strong attention to detail, with a focus on providing accurate and timely solutions to customer queries Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team Familiarity with customer service software and technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
