Key Responsibilities Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer interaction is personalized, friendly, and professional. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, contributing to a safe and secure shopping environment. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, ensuring that all products are accurately stocked and easily accessible to customers. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, ensuring that all transactions are efficient, secure, and accurate. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any customer concerns or issues. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our company values and mission. The following requirements are preferred: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and supporting store operations. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating a commitment to supporting the needs of our customers and store operations.
