**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Greeting customers and providing a warm welcome to our store
* Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy
* Making purchase suggestions and offering personalized recommendations to customers
* Working with our food program to provide a seamless shopping experience
* Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
* Providing fast and friendly service to customers, resolving issues promptly and professionally
* Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and understanding their needs
* Collaborating with the sales team to achieve daily sales goals and targets
* Participating in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
* Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on promotions and sales
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous retail and customer service experience, preferably in a sales associate or cashiering role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
* Physical stamina to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Retail and sales experience, preferably in a convenience store or similar environment
* Experience working with a point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit transactions
* Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and make change accurately
* Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
* High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on sales and marketing
