Job Overview As a remote customer service representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, inquiries, and various travel-related concerns from the comfort of your own home. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and ensure that passengers have a positive experience with blithequark. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of systems and tools, including those related to payment processing, accounting, and customer relationship management. Key Responsibilities Complete data access and balancing functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payment processing and accounting Coordinate with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and ensure compliance with regulations Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing to ensure seamless operations Work on member cases and projects assigned, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products to ensure accuracy and security Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance Process Stop Pays and Check Batching to ensure efficient payment processing Complete daily balancing and department closing to ensure accuracy and efficiency Obtain information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information to ensure accuracy and security Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers and ensure compliance with regulations Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations to ensure compliance Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED, as well as intermediate Excel and Word skills. Previous customer/member service experience, banking or Credit Union experience, and Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience are preferred but not required.
