You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, resolve complex problems, and exceed guest expectations. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a knack for building strong relationships, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to guests via phone, email, and chat, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Process reservation requests, support basic loyalty and customer care requests, and identify guest reservation needs to maximize revenue * Follow sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell services, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests * Collaborate with Marriott properties, related company contacts, and third parties to provide seamless support and resolve issues efficiently * Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, and ensure the privacy and security of guests and coworkers * Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs * Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals and listening to and responding to the concerns of other employees **Requirements** * High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent * No related work experience required * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues * Proficiency in using technology, including computer software and hardware, to perform job duties * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions * Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer service experience in a call center or hospitality environment * Knowledge of hotel operations, including room types, amenities, and services * Familiarity with loyalty programs and customer care procedures * Experience working with multiple software systems and technology platforms * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds **Work Environment** As a remote worker with blithequark, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, free from interruptions and distractions.
