Job Summary In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for answering questions, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service to a high volume of inbound provider calls. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct extensive claims research on multiple platforms, assist providers with payment questions, and educate them on various plan details and benefits. As a key member of our team, you will also process claim referrals, new claim handoffs, nurse reviews, complaints, grievances, and appeals via our target system. Key Responsibilities: Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors Conduct extensive claims research on multiple platforms to assist providers with payment questions Provide excellent customer service and educate providers on plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, and other related information Process claim referrals, new claim handoffs, nurse reviews, complaints, grievances, and appeals via our target system Determine medical necessity, applicable coverage provisions, and verify member plan eligibility relating to incoming correspondence and internal referrals Assist in compiling claim data for customer audits and use customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements: MUST live in the state of Florida full-time Familiarity with Microsoft Office products Experience in a highly transactional call center environment Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills High-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) and consistent connection Work location must be set up with a direct connection to the router (NOT Wi-Fi) High School diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting Knowledge of claims processing and insurance benefits Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees. Compensation and Benefits The typical pay range for this role is $25.00 - $38.00 per hour.
