Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary duties and responsibilities will include: Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to address their queries and concerns. Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner. Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance. Managing department standards for the number of calls, average handle time, and time management to meet productivity goals. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care. Utilizing excellent alpha and number recognition skills to accurately process information. Demonstrating mathematical abilities to perform calculations and analyze data. Possessing basic PC skills and being able to learn new software applications quickly. Handling high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism. Making strong decisions with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. At least one year of office experience preferred; telecommunications experience a plus. Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired. Excellent customer service background and good phone skills. Strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Excellent alpha and number recognition skills. Demonstrated mathematical abilities.
