**Who We Need**

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will possess:

• **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with post-high school business courses a plus.
• **Medical Terminology Desired**: Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, but not required.
• **Excellent Verbal Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal communication skills, a courteous and patient demeanor, and the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations.
• **Good Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling, Hyphenation, and Written Communications Skills**: Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documents.
• **Customer Focused, Results Oriented, and Capable of Building and Maintaining Relationships**: A customer-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• **General Knowledge of a PC-Based Computer System**: Familiarity with a PC-based computer system, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed.
• **Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize Assignments**: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• **Two to Three Years of Clerical Experience**: Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.

**Experience**

Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology is recommended, but not required. Previous data entry or other clerical experience is a plus.

**What You'll Do**

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• **Typing/Merging, Proofing for Clarity, Printing, and Mailing Correspondence**: Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters, as well as printing and mailing correspondence.
• **Communicating Verbally and in Writing with External Customers**: Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, and communicating with external customers to furnish and request review information.
• **Fostering Effective Working Relationships**: Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, and fostering effective working relationships between arenaflex's internal and external customers.
• **Assisting with and Participating in Review Team**: Identifying areas for potential improvement, as noted on case reviews and process, and participating in the Review Team.
• **Answering the Beneficiary Helpline**: Utilizing the hunt group and available light functions to answer the Beneficiary Helpline, and determining how to best assist callers.
