As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in helping borrowers navigate their federal student loans, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing accurate, professional, and empathetic support. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: β€’ Assisting student loan borrowers with account inquiries, repayment options, and application processes β€’ Handling inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment β€’ Providing accurate, professional, and empathetic customer support β€’ Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards β€’ Meeting key performance indicators and quality assurance standards **Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you must: β€’ Be a U.S. citizen β€’ Hold a high school diploma or GED β€’ Have at least 6 months of customer service experience in a business, non-retail environment or call center experience β€’ Have at least 6 months of computer experience in a business setting β€’ Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote) β€’ Be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed) β€’ Not be in default on federal student loans β€’ Demonstrate financial responsibility β€’ Not have felony convictions within the past 7 years β€’ Not have misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years that may impact eligibility β€’ Not have non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more **Preferred Qualifications** β€’ Prior call center experience β€’ Associate or bachelor's degree **Technical & Availability Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: β€’ A reliable high-speed internet connection (No WIFI, wired Ethernet required) β€’ Reliable transportation to an arenaflex facility for pre-employment visits (such as equipment pickup and credentialing) and any additional on-site requirements during employment β€’ To pass an online customer service assessment β€’ A quiet, private, and distraction-free home workspace, with no caregiving responsibilities or other interruptions during scheduled work hours β€’ Availability to work any assigned shift during Contact Center hours: + Mon: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM CT + Tue–Fri: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CT + Sat: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM CT **Classroom and Hands-On-Training** As a new hire, you'll participate in up to 5–6 weeks of paid classroom and hands-on training, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT (remote).
