**Job Responsibilities:**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

* Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
* Maintaining a positive, professional attitude and demeanor at all times, even in high-pressure situations
* Receiving and processing requests from multiple sources, including phone, fax, e-Commerce, and in-person interactions
* Coordinating home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery
* Engaging in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing angry customers as needed
* Providing customers with product and service information, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources
* Verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services
* Following policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance
* Understanding and striving to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service
* Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable
* Performing other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* 6 months of relevant customer service experience (preferably in a medical or healthcare setting)
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Customer service orientation
* Attention to detail
* Good data entry skills
* Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Physical Demands:**

As a remote employee, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home, but you'll still need to meet the physical demands of the job. These include:

* Regularly sitting, talking, and hearing
* Frequent typing and computer use
* Occasional standing and walking
* Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs. (50 lbs. for retail)
* Close vision required
