This role is an integral part of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at arenaflex Credit Union. As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to payment processing, item processing, direct bills, and fund transfers. Key Responsibilities
Complete data entry and balancing tasks with precision and accuracy
Coordinate return items with members, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing
Work on member cases/sports assigned, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
Complete daily balancing and department closing tasks
Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers
Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Intermediate Excel and Word skills
Preferred qualifications include:
Previous customer/member service experience
Previous banking or Credit Union experience
Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience

Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs
Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure
Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department

Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
