About the Role: Customer Service Representative We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a fully remote position. As a key member of our Review Team, you will provide exceptional customer service support to beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, create and proofread correspondence, and maintain timely and accurate records. Perks of This Role Fully remote position with rotational shifts available for EST, CT, or PST time zones Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and more, effective the first month following your hire date Paid time off for a great work-life balance 401k with match and no vesting period Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a national organization Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional customer service support to beneficiaries and providers via our helpline Creating, formatting, and proofreading correspondence, including letters and notices Maintaining timely and accurate records, including medical records and appeals Fostering effective working relationships between internal and external customers Assisting with and participating in Review Team initiatives to identify areas for improvement Utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent Post-high school business courses or medical terminology experience (desirable) Excellent verbal communication skills, courteous and patient demeanor, and ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communication skills Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers General knowledge of PC-based computer systems and software packages (desirable) Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities Prior work experience in a healthcare setting or medical terminology Previous data entry or other clerical experience Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth, learning, and success.
