Job Summary
careerzynith is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Utilize careerzynith's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
Investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes).
Resolve all information section-related exceptions.
Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as necessary.
Resolve Outsider Oddballs by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
Make phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve the Outsider Oddballs.
Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities:
Fundamental level computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, or accessing data online.
Essential web search skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
Moderate level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing reports.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Capabilities
While not required, the following preferred capabilities would be beneficial in this role:
At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
Moderate to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and designing reports.
Familiarity with Spanish and English.
