**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing support, guidance, proper follow-up, and resolution to client inquiries or issues. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, and your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will make all the difference in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assist customers with product questions, ordering, order tracking, complaints, and problems
* Enter orders into our system for billing and delivery
* Prepare quotes and coordinate mailings of literature and samples
* Coordinate delivery schedules with our dispatch team
* Retrieve needed information for our credit department
* Issue credits or debits accurately when applicable
* Set up new customers for our sales force
* Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers by phone, fax, and email
* Run credit card and check approvals
* Categorize, file, and maintain paperwork for audit purposes and file all customer records
* Print and distribute e-mailed customer purchase orders
* Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as needed
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent or comparable in related experience
* Detailed-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills
* Good basic math skills and attention to detail
* Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Good organizational and problem-solving skills
* Experience with a multi-line phone system
* Pleasant phone personality and ability to multi-task
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard
* Bending and some lifting may be required
* Extensive writing and phone use
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tasks that can be very repetitive
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:
* Previous customer service experience in a similar industry or environment
* Experience with CRM software and other customer-facing systems
* Knowledge of outdoor living solutions and products
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
