**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Insurance Claims Recovery Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Politely and effectively communicating with medical, dental, and long-term care providers regarding identified insurance overpayments.
* Persistent problem-solving and escalating issues as necessary.
* Proactively making contact and responding both verbally and in writing with providers.
* Maintaining and accurately updating records in our operating system, including points of contact, recovery stages, and other relevant information.
* Performing administrative duties, such as creating notes, researching overpayments, and sending emails/faxes.
* Demonstrating a basic level of knowledge of our policies and procedures.
* Positively responding to coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
* Working effectively in a fast-paced and team environment.
* Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly recovery goals and metrics.
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A detail-oriented and accurate approach to completing tasks.
* Intermediate Windows and MS Office skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Experience in processing Long Term Care/Medical/Medicare/Medicaid/Dental or some type of insurance billing or auditing.
* Call center experience.
* Customer service experience.
* Mainframe, 'green screen' experience or similar systems.
* Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
