**Job Summary**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our clients, providers, and members. You will be the primary point of contact for inquiries related to eligibility, benefits, claims, coverage, and authorization of services. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of healthcare regulations will enable you to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Answer incoming phone calls from providers, health plans, and members via our advanced call center system
- Retrieve and respond to voice mails in a timely and professional manner
- Provide eligibility, benefits, claim, and referral status information to clients, as required
- Assist in resolving issues for providers related to claims, authorization, and eligibility inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of complex issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

To excel in this role, you will need to possess:

- A strong sense of responsibility for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, HCFA1500, and UB04 billing forms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and resolving issues efficiently

**Education and Experience**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of customer service experience in a call center and/or healthcare environment preferred

**Physical and Work Environment Demands**

- Must be able to work in a sitting position, use a computer, and answer the telephone
- Office work environment with minimal physical demands

**Compensation and Benefits**

- Competitive hourly rate: $14.50 - $21.80 per hour, depending on location, qualifications, and experience
- Position may be eligible for a signing bonus for qualified new hires, subject to employment status
- Conifer observed holidays receive time and a half
