Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, engaging with members, understanding their unique needs, and providing personalized support. Your role will involve: Responding to a wide range of customer inquiries, from basic to complex, related to claims, eligibility, and benefits. Educating members on our plans, tools, and resources to guide them along a clear path to care. Resolving issues by phone and triaging rework to the appropriate staff. Documenting and tracking contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors. Guiding members through their plan benefits, blithequark policy, and procedures, while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Creating an emotional connection with our members by building a trusting and caring relationship. Anticipating customer needs and providing related information to answer unasked questions. Using our customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions that resolve member issues. Explaining member rights and responsibilities in accordance with their contract. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating empathy and compassion. Experience in a production environment. A High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Previous experience in the health care or insurance industry. Knowledge of health insurance plans, benefits, and regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
