Job Overview This role is designed for a highly skilled and experienced customer service professional who can handle moderate to complex inquiries from internal and external customers. As a Customer Service Associate III at blithequark, you will be responsible for addressing various types of policy and billing inquiries, resolving service concerns, and documenting customer requests. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to provide accurate and professional responses to customers via inbound and outbound calls, incoming correspondence, and other communication channels. Key Responsibilities Input and track customer information into the appropriate databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Stay up-to-date on new marketing campaigns to respond effectively to marketing-related inquiries, utilizing all available resource tools. Handle customer documentation requests, clearly explaining documents and follow-up requirements, and providing updates as needed. Demonstrate a working knowledge of insurance policies and related processes and procedures, applying this knowledge to resolve customer inquiries and concerns. Process changes to customer policies with accuracy, identifying opportunities for cross-sales and upselling when applicable. Employ active listening skills, asking probing questions to understand customer issues, and displaying empathy and compassion in your responses. Facilitate first-call resolution and ensure customer satisfaction on all transactions handled, resolving routine, complex, and unique questions and issues. Education and Experience To be successful in this role, you should have a High School Diploma or GED, although equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Preferred experience ranges from 0-2 years, although we welcome applications from highly motivated and skilled individuals who can demonstrate their ability to learn and grow with our organization. Essential Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of insurance policies and related processes and procedures. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
