Experienced Customer Service Representative / General Call Center - Remote Opportunity at careerzynith

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and exceeding customer expectations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Assist all internal and external customers in a professional manner, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
* Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations.
* Receive requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and complete necessary processes for equipment services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our Dispatch team.
* Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed, to resolve issues and build trust.
* Provide customers with product and service information, answering questions and addressing concerns in a clear and concise manner.
* Maintain current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for our customers.
* Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Follow policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance, maintaining accurate and timely records.
* Understand and strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
* Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

* **Education and/or Experience:**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
+ 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
* **Skills & Abilities:**
+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

+ Attention to detail.
+ Good data entry skills.
+ Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
