Key Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and respond to questions from plan members about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions
Provide exceptional customer service and support to plan members, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Help plan members understand their services and options, and provide education on available resources and benefits
Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and provide seamless support to plan members
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, company policies, and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
At least 1 year of customer interaction experience (e.g., call center, retail, customer service, hospitality industry, military)
Computer experience with Windows-based applications
An associate's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent customer service skills, including telephone communication and professionalism
Ability to solve problems in a positive and constructive manner
Reliability and compliance with certain standards, including HIPAA compliance and adherence to federal regulations
Patient and understanding, with the ability to convey trust and confidence to plan members
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
Knowledge of healthcare or insurance industry
Experience with CRM software or other customer service platforms
Bilingual or multilingual skills
