Key Responsibilities
Provide phone support to patients, addressing their concerns and questions regarding specialty drug treatment
Coordinate and process new and existing drug orders, including verifying and renewing benefits
Assist patients with interpreting and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy data system
Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and expedite orders
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor, identify, and resolve orders with billing or clinical issues
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Active IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License
At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role, handling complex customer needs via phone
Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
Strong keyboarding skills and ability to type accurately and efficiently

Experience working in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and medical terminology
