Job Overview: Customer Service Representative

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Account Management & Service team on a remote basis. As a "people person" with a passion for helping others, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our individual clients and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. Key Responsibilities


Work in a call center environment to process endorsement requests for personal lines insurance policies, securing pricing from carriers as needed
Manage account documentation, sending documents to insureds and following up to ensure receipt and submission to the carrier
Maintain a follow-up system with insurance carriers to ensure timely processing of requests
Furnish underwriters with additional information as requested and issue certificates of insurance and evidence of property forms to clients and their representatives
Process lost policy release forms and transmit correspondence to insureds and carriers
Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management, including managing the agency interface system and ensuring accurate revenue recording
Provide sales support by rating policies and entering policy information into our database
Pursue ongoing personal and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


1-2 years of insurance experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
A Property & Casualty License (required)
Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to understand and analyze insurance coverage, forms, and policies
Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn our agency interface system


Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:


Additional insurance licenses or certifications (e.g., Life or Health)
Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
A background in sales or account management
