Experienced Customer Service Representative for After-Hours Support – Remote Opportunity with Flexible Hours

About the Role
In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our clients, resolving queries, and ensuring seamless communication with our caregivers. Your exceptional phone and computer skills, combined with your experience in customer service and office duties, will enable you to excel in this position. As a remote worker, you will be working independently, but you will be fully supported by our team and have access to all the resources you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer all incoming calls and respond to client and nurse queries in a timely and professional manner
Resolve client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently
Provide timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform, ensuring that all clients receive the support they need
Notify clients and replace caregiver callouts as necessary, ensuring that our services are delivered without interruption
Confirm caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start, ensuring that all caregivers are aware of their schedules and are prepared to provide exceptional care
Perform initial intake for callers potentially interested in services, providing them with accurate information and supporting them through the process
Document all scenarios on our platform, as well as update caregiver schedules as needed, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate
Complete non-urgent admin projects if time allows, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our team


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and confident, with a strong ability to empathize with clients and provide supportive care
Responsible and reliable, with a proven track record of working independently and managing your time effectively
10+ years of work experience in customer service and office duties, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of exceptional customer care
Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours, with a willingness to work a unique schedule that includes weekends and evenings
Impeccable phone and computer skills, with experience using a range of software applications and technology platforms
Staffing and/or healthcare experience, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of care delivery
Experience working remotely and independently, with a proven ability to manage your time effectively and work without supervision
Quiet and professional work-from-home environment, with a reliable internet connection and backup power supply


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a remote customer service role, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of remote work
Experience working with clients who have complex needs or requirements, with a strong ability to provide supportive and compassionate care
Knowledge of the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of care delivery
Certification or training in customer service, healthcare, or a related field, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
