Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store. Key Responsibilities Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a fair and friendly manner Register sales on assigned cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments and returns Provide customers with courteous, friendly, and efficient service, including recommending items for sale and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items Maintain a clean and well-merchandised store, including counters, shelves, and displays Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, including cleaning and restocking Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sell of promotional photo products Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders and filling customer requests Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing situations Preferred Qualifications Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment Prefer prior work experience with blithequark Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Prefer excellent communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
