Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative is a key position at arenaflex, responsible for providing excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations. Key Responsibilities

Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported
Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments in a timely and efficient manner
Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being, and providing prompt and effective assistance
Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products, ensuring that customers have access to the information they need
Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records, contributing to the smooth operation of our hospital
Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions, ensuring that our financial systems are up-to-date and accurate


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records, ensuring that our administrative systems are efficient and effective
Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance to our customers
Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities, ensuring that our financial transactions are accurate and secure
Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail, enabling you to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, ensuring that our hospital is always staffed with knowledgeable and friendly team members
Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds, ensuring that you can work safely and effectively in our fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare environment
