Job Overview


Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, or other communication channels, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their inquiries and concerns.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our ETM software operation, billing and account operations, and other relevant systems and processes.
Research and resolve patient billing issues, updating insurance coverage and printing courtesy claims and itemized statements as needed.
Arrange financial agreements with patients using budget plans, rebilling accounts, and performing other duties and assignments as requested.
Document all patient interactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to our quality standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers, billing specialists, and other customer service representatives, to ensure seamless and effective communication.


Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to speak, listen, and type simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands.
Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and other software applications.
Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are highly desirable, but not required.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, or restaurant service is strongly preferred, but not essential.

Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical billing environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and healthcare regulations.
