**Job Summary**

As a Customer Service Representative on our American Airlines Customer Support Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences to our clients. You will work closely with our team to resolve customer complaints, answer questions, and provide solutions to complex issues. **Key Responsibilities**

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Provide solutions to complex customer issues, including but not limited to, flight cancellations, delays, and lost luggage.
* Collaborate with our team to resolve customer complaints and provide exceptional customer experiences.
* Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of customer requests.
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to provide accurate and timely information to customers.
* Meet or exceed performance metrics and standards, including but not limited to, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and average handle time.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

**Essential Qualifications**

* **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
* **Experience**: 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment.
* **Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* **Certifications**: Customer service certification (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative) preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* **Education**: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, communications).
* **Experience**: 2-5 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment.
* **Skills**: Proficiency in a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce); experience with customer service software (e.g. Zendesk).
* **Certifications**: Advanced customer service certification (e.g. Certified Customer Service Manager).
