Experienced Customer Service Representative – Air Travel Support & Operations

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* Providing friendly and efficient support to customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and gate areas
* Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Processing transactions, including ticket sales, baggage fees, and other travel-related services
* Managing customer complaints and issues related to oversold flights, delayed or cancelled flights, and lost or damaged luggage
* Providing accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, reservations, and travel requirements
* Completing forms and reports as required by the organization
* Writing incident and complaint reports as needed
* Performing other duties as assigned by management

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed and accuracy
* Ability to understand and follow instructions, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and regulations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
* Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
* Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in the airline industry
* Knowledge of airline operations, including ticketing, baggage handling, and flight schedules
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
