**Job Summary**
We're seeking a motivated and reliable Customer Service Gate Agent to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Ground Handling Department, you'll be responsible for assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking flights, monitoring computerized passenger boarding, and providing exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities**
* Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
* Monitor computerized passenger boarding to ensure accurate and timely boarding
* Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
* Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
* Operate the Jetway to facilitate safe and efficient boarding and disembarking
* Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
**Essential Qualifications and Competencies**
* Successful completion of our comprehensive Gate Agent training course
* Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in an airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous airline experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
* Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service
* Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs, including our proprietary systems
**Work Environment**
* Use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment in a fast-paced airport environment
* Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
* All shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts
**Physical Requirements**
* Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
* Handle objects up to 70 pounds
* Assist passengers with disabilities, including, but not limited to, pushing wheelchairs
