Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Claims Specialist to join our growing claims department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering internal and external phone and email inquiries, providing information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage and terms, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. If you have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts.
Request and distribute internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department.
Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes.
Manage work-flow, process and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.
Be a team member, work effectively in a friendly team environment, and maintain open communication with management and co-workers.
Participate in training, team meetings, and meetings with management, utilizing camera usage as required.
Perform other job duties as assigned.


Key to Success
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that align with our company values. These include:

Minimum High School graduate or GED is Required.
Strong organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers.
Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
Typing speed of at least 35 wpm, with the ability to document information while discussing claims over the phone.
Automotive Service Dept. experience preferred, with experience as a Warranty Administrator, BDC Representative, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, or Service Writer being an asset.
