If you're a people person with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. β’ *Key Responsibilities** β’ Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience β’ Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service β’ Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services β’ Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience β’ Recommends items for sale to customers and recommends trade-up and/or companion items β’ Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested β’ Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed β’ Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records β’ Checks in and prices merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader β’ Implements Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss β’ Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) β’ Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise β’ Completes resets and revisions as directed β’ Assists with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures β’ Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products β’ Assumes web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store) β’ Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance β’ Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers β’ Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned β’ *Training & Personal Development** β’ Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate β’ *Essential Qualifications** β’ Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) β’ Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours β’ *Preferred Qualifications** β’ Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment β’ Prefer to have prior work experience with remotehirings β’ *Skills and Competencies** β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations β’ Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills β’ Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods β’ Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team β’ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills β’ *Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At remotehirings, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
