We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork, and we are always looking for talented individuals who share our values and passion for delivering exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for: * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items. * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records. * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * Completing resets and revisions as directed. * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers. * Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned. **Training & Personal Development** As a Customer Service Associate, you will have the opportunity to: * Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate. * Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations. * Grow your career with arenaflex through promotions, transfers, and new opportunities. **Basic Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you must: * Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Be willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * Six months of experience in a retail environment. * Prior work experience with arenaflex. **Equal Opportunity Employer** arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer, including disability/veterans.
