* Managing the point-of-sale system in both the Ticket Booth and Gift Shop, handling money and processing credit cards with accuracy and proper recordkeeping
* Acting as a Zoo liaison during animal encounters and other on-site events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests
* Basic inventory management, including tracking and maintaining stock levels
* Ensuring guests are following all Zoo rules and regulations, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all
* Demonstrating problem-solving skills, thinking critically to resolve guest concerns and issues
* Possessing a high level of verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management
* Being punctual and reliable, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules
* Working a variety of shifts, including weekends, to ensure our guests receive exceptional service throughout the day
**Essential Qualifications**
* Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required; we are looking for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
