Join us on this exciting journey and become a part of a team that's shaping the future of retail. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate I, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Your duties will include: * Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience * Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency * Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to blithequark's policies and procedures * Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and receiving merchandise in accordance with productivity standards * Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders * Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable * Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management team **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred) * Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents * Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting * Excellent customer service and relationship management skills * Strong organizational and communication skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, having the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate: * Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment * Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling and inventory management * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus) **Perks and Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to supporting your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
